City Building Permits/Fees:
A Building permit will not be approved unless all the following
has been provided with each application:
1. Plans of Contruction
2. Perk Test (if applicable)
3. Flood Plan (if applicable)
4. Contractors License
5. Proof of Workman's Compensation Insurance
6. Completed Package of City Forms (see below)
FEE: $ .30 sq. ft. on TOTAL square footage
of new construction
Total square footage multiplied by .30 = City Building Permit Fee
To schedule an inspection you must call City Hall and give your Permit
Number. Call City Hall if you have any questions.
City Facilities Tax:
Residential = $.75 sq. ft. on HEATED AREA only
Heated Area square footage multiplied by $.75
= Res. City Facilities Tax
Commercial = $.40 sq. ft. on TOTAL square footage
Total square footage multiplied by $.40 = Comm.

All Town of Pegram Permits can be applied for during regularly scheduled/posted
City Hall hours Monday - Friday 8 AM - 12 PM and 1 PM - 4 PM. See
below to download forms onto your pc.
Bring your receipt(s) from the Cheatham County Building Codes Department
in Ashland City in order to apply for your City permits. County Building

Septic Inspections:
Where City Sewer is not available, the State Environmental Office performs
the inspections. For information about the City approved septic tank for
the Town of Pegram, call City Hall at 646-0731.
